Our Community Involvement

PENCIL was founded with the goal of raising awareness about public education by inviting civic and business leaders into New York City public schools. From those early days to our work today implementing hands-on, immersive programs that open eyes, open minds and open doors.

Hoodies

Is a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and cultural movement using music, fashion and art to bring awareness to the issues of homelessness and inspiring community participation through the collection of hoodies at live music events.

Madison’s Club

A founding member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the oldest Boys & Girls Club in New York City, Madison has served the city’s most under-resourced youth since 1884 thanks to the tireless efforts of our staff, the vision of our Board of Trustees, and the generous support of our public and private partners.
